Director of Event Development
Arthritis Foundation
The Arthritis Foundation, Rocky Mountain Chapter, seeks a Director of Event Development dedicated to and passionate about the mission of the Foundation.
The Director of Event Development is responsible for all aspects of the Arthritis Walks and Jingle Bell Run, signature events of the Arthritis Foundation. Duties include coordinating and managing committees and volunteers, and reporting, marketing, relationship and budget management. This position will also be called upon to provide logistical support to other chapter events. Provides key assistance in organizing and implementing annual special event marketing, operational and budget plans.
Successful applicants will have a bachelor's degree plus two to three years successful event management and fundraising experience, including volunteer committee management and fundraising team recruitment experience. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including computer experience, and excellent organizational skills. Must have experience with developing fundraising plans that include special events and volunteer coordination. Must be able and willing to work evenings and weekends as appropriate. Salary commensurate with experience.
